We are proud to say we are a Great Place to Work 2020, small workplace category, which makes it the 11th year in a row that we’ve received this accolade. The award is based on an external staff survey, which makes it even more meaningful and important to us.
The GPTW judges commented: “Virgo Health promotes flexibility and work life balance through a range of flexible working options including summer hours, working from home and flex hours.
“They also appear to be invested in the wellbeing of their employees with a range of initiatives and activities, proactively calling for employees to consider their physical and mental wellbeing.”
In the previous year, we introduced lots of improvements to agency life. Last year we created our Cultural Ambassadors, a team of employees from all levels directly reporting to the MD to help shape the business. Our Cultural Ambassadors helped us form a new rewards and recognition programme, formalise our flexible working policy, reviewed our internal communications and renewed our CSR policy. We also trained more Mental Health First Aiders and introduced a much-loved office dog policy.
We look forward to using this year’s GPTW feedback to understand areas of importance to our people and build on them.
