What is the role?
We’re looking for a media savvy Senior Account Executive (SAE) to work on leading consumer health and sports brands. As a SAE you will play a key role in the smooth running of client accounts, developing strong client relationships and delivering projects and content. You will coordinate your workload, and the workloads of those reporting to you to deliver high standards of work to deadlines while prioritising to manage time.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work on very well-known consumer brands in the UK and Globally, delivering impactful earned-media strategies and award-winning creative campaigns which achieve real change.
What will you be doing?
- Develop materials that are tailored to different types of media/clients to a good standard ready for the delivery
- Craft compelling content for both proactive and reactive use that gets cut through in media
- Liaise with spokespeople and play a key role facilitating broadcast days, research projects and news wires
- Have a strong understanding of the consumer health media landscape, develop pitches and sell in to target journalists
- Develop and share your knowledge of the accounts that you work in
- Support AMs / senior team with research for proposals and development of new business pitches
- Contribute to team brainstorms and keep abreast of key trends and cultural moments relevant to clients
- Liaising with clients, play an active role in any team meetings and leading on some projects/activities, as well as leading on some client calls
- Assist in budgeting and managing cost trackers
- Supporting AEs/JAEs in smooth running of accounts, ensuring call readiness, overseeing updates to status reports and developing and managing effective account team administrative procedures
- Manage small projects from start to end (with senior support), including effective time and project management, factoring in senior review, editorial and design
- Play an active role in media scanning and take responsibility for ensuring that clients receive relevant daily coverage in a timely fashion and actively triage and respond to any urgent flags/issues arising
What are we looking for?
- Previous experience in consumer health/wellbeing at a consumer or healthcare communications agency
- Understanding of consumer healthcare media and social media platforms and expertise in developing content for these channels
- Excellent organisation and administration skills and ability to coordinate workload effectively working to deadlines as an individual, and supporting the team deliver projects in a timely manner to clients
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Systematic and logical approach to planning
- Computer literate with MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams
- Have a good knowledge of the consumer health industry and client environment
