Associate Director (Virgo HEALTH Communications)

We are currently recruiting for an exceptional Associate Director to join our ethical health (Comms) team. This is a key role within the Comms division and the ideal candidate will be strategically minded, offer excellent client counsel and will provide vision and leadership to the wider team. The Associate Director will be responsible for a overseeing a portfolio of accounts within the division and be accomplished in providing clear account and business direction, in managing a large team and developing and delivering new business opportunities.

Account Director (Virgo HEALTH Communications)

We are looking for a passionate and dynamic accomplished Account Director to join our Ethical Health (Comms) team. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing and motivating teams, as well as offering strategic client counsel, and the ability to see the bigger picture and set direction. The ideal person will be a key driver of client, business and team growth, and have a broad knowledge of the external environment.

Medical Writer (Virgo HEALTH Education)

A vacancy has arisen in our editorial team for a Medical Writer within the Health Education division. The ideal candidate will already have agency experience and will be able to produce high quality educational materials for client accounts and other educational bodies to enhance understanding of disease areas and products. The role consists of developing, implementing and managing delivery of medical education and communications materials and writing copy to the highest standard including oral presentations, publications, print items and digital platforms.

Associate Medical Writer (Virgo HEALTH Education)

We are searching for an Associate Medical Writer to support our Health Education editorial team. The role involves assisting the writing team in producing educational materials for client accounts, with the main aim of helping clients to communicate their educational objectives. The ideal candidate will develop their ability to research, write, edit and proof copy to the highest standards.

Paid internships (Virgo Consumer HEALTH and Virgo HEALTH Education)

We are looking to recruit a number of interns for our Consumer Health and Health Education teams for a 2-3 month period. The Consumer Health role is working on exciting brands such as E45, Optrex, Veet, Clearasil and Nurofen, and involves selling in stories to journalists, liaising with celebrities for campaigns and account administration. The Health Education role will give the right person a chance to expand their already existing scientific knowledge, plus get involved in running global meetings and events, whilst providing administrative support to the account teams. The ideal candidates will have a genuine interest in healthcare, media and communications and be a team player with the ability to multi task. They will have excellent organisational and administrative skills and a real flair for both verbal and written communications, plus a passion and enthusiasm for their work, alongside solid computer skills.
