Job Overview

To assist the medical writing team in the development and delivery of high-quality medical education content. To lead and manage the editorial department, coordinate and mentor editorial team members, and encourage best practices across the team.

Level of Experience and Skills

• At least seven years’ experience working in a healthcare communications agency
• Excellent attention to detail
• Excellent copy editing and English language skills
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask
• Line management and recruitment experience
• Coaching/mentoring skills
• Excellent knowledge of leading style guides
• Working knowledge of copyright law and procedures
• Ability to prioritize editorial department’s workloads and work under pressure
• Proficiency in use of PowerPoint, Word, Excel, internet (searches) and
specialist software, e.g. Reference Manager
