We could not be more delighted! We know we’re a great place to work, but for the 10th year running Virgo Health has been recognised externally in the Great Place to Work awards small organisation category, ranking 15th in the category.
The award is driven largely by rigorous employee surveys and feedback, making this award even more meaningful to us.
Alongside this accolade, Virgo received added recognition for Excellence in Wellbeing, a UK-wide recognition for organisations with excellent wellbeing practices, as perceived by employees. The methodology tracks the six key dimensions that drive a culture of wellbeing; work environment, mental and physical health, financial security, interpersonal relationships, work-life balance and fulfillment at work.
“At Virgo Health our culture has always centred around our ethos of ‘Being Human’, which plays into everything we do from our client work to our workplace culture. We strive to make Virgo Health an exceptional place that people want to stay, so I am thrilled to gain recognition once again for the importance we place on keeping our people motivated, engaged and happy,” said Managing Director, Ondine Whittington.
Here is what the judges had to say:
“Virgo Health have tried to foster a good place to work with inclusive, yet integrative practices, tied into their company mission, vision and values. This was notably seen in the strongest section of the submission, Celebrating, where initiatives such as the “pop up” food stand and Friday bar ensured everyone enjoyed fun at work. This was also demonstrated in their integration of relocating and celebrating with their ‘moving in pizza’.”
